Help, my internet is running slow!

Is your internet connection acting sluggish? No worries! Follow these simple steps to troubleshoot and potentially improve your internet speed.


Step 1 - Check Your Devices

Make sure the issue isn't isolated to a single device. Test your internet speed on multiple devices such as your laptop, smartphone, and tablet. This will help you determine whether the problem is with your internet connection or a specific device.


Step 2 - Restart Your Router/Modem + Internet Termination Device (if applicable)

Sometimes, a simple restart can work wonders. Unplug your router/modem as well as your internet termination device (if applicable) from the power source, wait about 30 seconds, and then plug them back in. Allow a few minutes for them to fully reboot and reconnect.

Step 3 - Switch to a Wired Connection

Streaming, downloads, and updates happening in the background can slow down your internet. Pause or cancel any ongoing downloads, streaming, or updates on your devices, and close unnecessary tabs or applications.

Step 7 - Consider Upgrading Your Plan
